Please include your phone number in  your order. The US Postal Service now requires telephone numbers for recipients of packages sent outside the U.S.

Shipping Costs:

Domestic U.S. shipping:

As of September 15, 2009, we offer free Media Mail shipping in the U.S.  Priority Mail is an additional $3.99.

International Shipping:

The U.S. Postal Service dramatically changed the types and rates of international shipping services on May 14, 2007.  Surface mail no longer is available.

We have standardized rates for First Class International and Priority Mail. These rates apply only to conventional books, not extra heavy books, such as big art books, and not sets of books.  First Class International can only be used for packages that weigh less than 4 lbs.

If we can pack your book safely in the USPS-provided envelope we will ship in the flat rate Priority Mail envelope.  The cost is $13.00, $11.00 for Canada and Mexico.  If you have paid more than that we will refund any difference greater than $1.00.

A LIGHT NOT OF THIS WORLD

”And just at that instant there rose as if from the bowels of the earth a light not of this world.”

If, as recent events demonstrate, even amateur terrorists still are able to penetrate American security, what is to prevent a team of highly trained professionals from executing a far more sophisticated plan?

A LIGHT NOT OF THIS WORLD begins with a
fugitive Pakistani nuclear scientist slipping into the U.S. and disappearing. A few months later an undercover FBI agent looking into an al-Qaeda link to a Baltimore import company is murdered. When Maryland Governor-elect David Randall, a retired Marine General and terrorism expert, connects the dots, he is swept into the firestorm that engulfs the nation and is called on to help lead America out of its worst nightmare of tragedy and terror.

Told through the heroic and self-sacrificing actions of some of the characters, and the evil actions of others, this fast-paced novel is set a few years in the future. It draws themes from contemporary events and debates over military doctrine, nuclear proliferation, American foreign policy and containment of terrorism. The events portrayed are both plausible and frighteningly feasible.

A LIGHT NOT OF THIS WORLD should appeal to readers of political and military thrillers, speculative fiction, and those who are concerned about nuclear proliferation, American policy in Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, and the threat of terrorism.  Unusual for a novel, it has a Note on Sources and Bibliography at the end.
